In November 2008, Original Penguin opened up its flagship UK store. Situated in the heart of Covent Garden, it’s a reincarnation of the post-war Americana culture Munsingwear’s Original Penguin had been at the heart of.

September 2011 saw the launch of the much anticipated store in the heart of East London at Westfield, Stratford City – Europe’s largest urban shopping centre. The loyal fan base and ever growing popularity of Original Penguin meant a second location can now serve up cutting edge Menswear at this iconic retail space.

Subtlety and simplicity course through the décor of both stores and indeed the clothes – rosewood sits starkly against the chrome fittings and mid-century furnishings, framed perfectly by the bespoke wallpaper, illuminated by the statement vintage lighting.

Since its debut in 2003, Original Penguin has been synonymous with producing clean cut, traditional menswear – proud to be a staple part of the British man’s wardrobe.
